The Katriona Taylor Quintet “The Best of 80s Jazzed”:  

Following her sell out show in this year’s London Jazz Festival the outstanding jazz vocalist Katriona Taylor performs classic 80s hits from great artists such as Queen, Prince, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Sade and Blondie, creatively reworking songs from one of music’s most colourful decades with her own unique Jazz & Latin arrangements. 

An established artist on the UK jazz scene, with 6 albums released to date, Katriona is equally at home on the intimate jazz club circuit or performing internationally to an audience of thousands. Katriona has received countless plaudits for her polished live performances and has also supported the legendary 10 times Grammy Award winner George Benson on his world tour and The James Taylor Quartet, amongst others.
 
For this special show Katriona is joined by some of the UK’s leading jazz musicians including the celebrated pianist Simon Wallace (Claire Martin, Barb Jungr, Ian Shaw), band leader and ace saxophonist Vasilis Xenopoulos, top drummer Chris Nickolls, (Martin Shaw, Jean Toussaint, Jim Mullen) and the noted bassist Simon Little, (Clare Teal, Nick Cave, The Divine Comedy).
